PCS is a firm that acts primarily for employers and management.
However, our expertise in all aspects of workplace relations law
and strategy makes us one of the most valued experts in this area
if you are an executive/high net worth employee.

Areas of Work

Some of the areas where we can assist you are:

  • advice on the termination of your employment (whether for misconduct, performance or redundancy grounds);
  • advice on issues of discrimination, bullying or harassment at work;
  • advice on a new contract of employment that you have been asked to sign;
  • strategies for negotiations around severance payments or restraints; and
  • representation in employment litigation and disputes.

How We Work

Clients have the choice of engaging our firm in one of three ways.

Option 1: Initial Consultation & Document Review

  • One of our Associates will conduct a review of key documents sent through by you (for example, a contract or a Deed, letter from employer)
  • Advice will be provided to you by a Director / the Managing Principal in a 45 minute in-person or Teams meeting

Option 2: Initial Consultation only

  • Advice will be provided to you by a Director / the Managing Principal in a 45 minute in-person or Teams meeting
  • No documents will be reviewed in advance

Option 3: Document Review only

  • Advice will be provided via email
  • Optional: Clarification of written advice to be provided to you by a Director / the Managing Principal in a 15 minute Teams meeting

About the Initial Consultation

At our initial consultation meeting we will most commonly:

  • ask you for a brief history of your employment situation;
  • understand from you what it is you are seeking to achieve by engaging us;
  • provide preliminary legal and strategic advice; and
  •  agree with you on next steps in your matter and discuss time and cost estimates.
